Ramayana Water Park: the big all-ages day
Ramayana calls itself the biggest water park in Thailand, and the scale shows in the practical details that matter with kids: a dedicated kids' restaurant with a children's menu, diaper-change tables in every restroom, and a staffed lost-children point at the Aqua Splash area.
Tickets and hours (checked 21 October 2026). Open daily 11:00-18:00, closed Wednesdays; slides start closing at 17:30. The full-day ticket is priced by height: guests 106 cm and taller pay 1,490 THB walk-in, and children under 106 cm enter free. Online promotions on the official site start at 799 THB (promotion valid until 31 December 2026), and online ticket holders are prioritized if the park reaches capacity.
Rules to know before you go. Children under 15 must be with a responsible adult. Children under 3 must wear swim diapers, sold at the park shop. Personal swim wings and rings are fine in the pools but not on the adult slides, and slides have a maximum weight of 135 kg per person. Entry is single-use: once you leave, re-entry needs a new ticket.
Columbia Pictures Aquaverse: the movie park
Aquaverse is the themed option: a Ghostbusters zone with what the park calls Asia's first Ghostbusters water slide, a Jumanji zone, a Zombieland zone, and for younger kids the Hotel Transylvania aqua playground with 9 slides and over 100 water features, plus an Emoji Movie mini golf course.

Getting there. The park is about 20 minutes south of Pattaya and 25 minutes from U-Tapao airport. A daily shuttle runs from Pattaya City with round-trip fares from 300 THB when booked online; a taxi or Grab typically runs 350-500 THB.
Hotel water park or public water park?

Tips for a water park day with kids
Check the weekday first. Both parks close on Wednesdays. Ramayana opens at 11:00 and Aquaverse at 10:00, so arriving at opening buys you the quietest hour on the slides.
Sort sun and documents early. Bring reef-safe sunscreen, rash guards for the midday hours, and a photo of each child's height measurement: at Ramayana the ticket price depends on the 106 cm line.
Set a meeting point. Ramayana runs a staffed lost-children point at the Aqua Splash area (after 17:30, the general meeting area near the entrance). Whatever park you pick, agree on a landmark with older kids before you split up.
