Day 1: Sanctuary of Truth and the beach
Start with Pattaya's one unmissable sight. The Sanctuary of Truth museum is open daily for day visits from 8:00 to 18:00, with a night tour from 18:20 to 20:30, according to its official website. Arriving near opening beats both the heat and the tour groups, and two to three hours is the right amount of time with kids: the temple is still being carved by hand, so children can watch the woodcarvers at work. Our Sanctuary of Truth with kids guide covers ticket prices by height, the helmet rule and stroller access.
Keep the afternoon light: back to the hotel pool, or an easy hour on Pattaya beach. If you picked a hotel with its own water park, this is its moment - our Pattaya hotels with a water park comparison shows which ones have real slides on site.
Day 2: Ramayana Water Park
Ramayana Water Park, about 20 minutes south of central Pattaya, lists 26 water slides, 4 dedicated kid zones, 3 pools, a lazy river and 50 activities in total, and says children from 106 cm can ride almost all slides (everything except the Aqualoop and Free Fall). With younger kids, plan most of the day in the kid zones and the lazy river; confident swimmers over 106 cm will not want to leave.
Bring reef-safe sunscreen, arrive near opening and claim shaded loungers first. If tickets are cheaper online on your dates, buy ahead; otherwise the gate is fine outside Thai holidays.

Day 3: Nong Nooch garden and an easy evening
Nong Nooch Tropical Garden is open daily from 8:00 to 18:00, and children under 90 cm enter free, per its official site; online tickets stay valid for five days, which gives you weather flexibility. Go early for the cooler hours, ride the internal shuttle if little legs tire, and be back at the hotel by early afternoon.
Close the trip slowly: a nap, a last swim and a simple evening stroll. If you are continuing to Bangkok, our Bangkok rainy-day guide with kids keeps the next leg covered, and the family packing list has the water-park kit checklist.

Where to stay
For this itinerary, a resort with its own water play makes the afternoons plan themselves. We stayed at Centara Grand Mirage with our kids and recommend it: see the full Centara Grand Mirage review, or compare all four options in Pattaya hotels with a water park.
