How to choose by your children's ages
Babies and toddlers (0-3): none of the clubs here takes children this young unaccompanied. Crown Paradise runs a dedicated Baby Paradise area for the youngest guests, and Seadust built its resort around families with a baby pool and a supervised baby club according to its public materials, so these two are the friendliest starting points if you travel with a toddler and plan to stay close.
Preschool and early school (4-7): every resort in the table accepts children from age 4. Hyatt Ziva's KidZ Club combines supervised games with its own mini water park, and Crown Paradise's pirate ship and castle with nine water slides is designed exactly for this age group.
Older kids (8-12): look for variety beyond toys. Royalton Splash adds a full water park and the Game Up activity hub, and Crown Paradise keeps a games room, mini golf and organized sports going through the day.
Teens (13-17): Hyatt Ziva is the clearest fit, with a teen lounge listed for ages 10 to 17. Royalton Splash's laser tag, bowling and trampoline park cost extra but give teenagers their own space.

Hotel zone or Riviera Cancun
Hyatt Ziva, Crown Paradise and Seadust sit in Cancun's hotel zone, a short ride from the airport and from the pier for Isla Mujeres. Royalton Splash is in Riviera Cancun near Puerto Morelos, farther south and closer to the big Riviera Maya parks. If you plan day trips to Chichen Itza with kids or a ferry day on Isla Mujeres, the hotel zone keeps transfers shorter; if the water park is the main event, Riviera Cancun works well.

Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun lists the Clubhouse Kids Club, a supervised indoor play space for ages 4 to 12, with the water park, playground and Game Up hub next door. Laser tag, bowling and the trampoline park carry an extra charge, and the resort publishes daily sports and evening shows.
Crown Paradise Club Cancun describes the Kid's Paradise Club water park for children up to 12, with a pirate ship, a castle with nine water slides and fountains, plus Baby Paradise for the youngest children, a family water park, mini golf and a teen program with sports and video games.
